As we pack up the Christmas lights, we are taking a moment to reflect on what made Country Christmas 2025 at The Ingleside Hotel so special. Country Christmas is more than dazzling displays—it is about connection, generosity, and coming together as a community to create meaningful moments that will last far beyond the holidays.
Illuminated Walking Nights: Shining Bright Together
In 2025, we hosted seven magical Illuminated Walking Nights - November 14–16, 21–23, and 26, 2025 - inviting guests to experience the mile-long Country Christmas Trail on foot.
For $10 per person, visitors stepped into the Country Christmas Trail while supporting an incredible cause. Thanks to the generosity of our guests, we raised $14,602 for the Christmas Clearing Council of Waukesha County, helping bring holiday joy to families in need throughout our community. The impact of these nights was felt far beyond the trail, and we are deeply thankful to everyone who participated.

Holiday Hooves: A One-of-a-Kind Experience
On November 17 and 18, 2025, Country Christmas hosted a private event called Holiday Hooves. Guests had the opportunity to ride their horses through the illuminated trail, creating unforgettable memories while giving back.
With $3 from every $20 ticket donated to the Run O’ The Mill Pony Club, this event supported local youth and the future of equestrian programs in our area. Seeing the joy on both riders and spectators alike made this event a standout of the season.
Giving Back to Our Four-Legged Friends: HAWS Nights
Community compassion took center stage on December 4 and December 11, 2025 during our HAWS Nights. For each carload admission, $5 was donated to the Humane Animal Welfare Society of Waukesha County, raising $1,380 in support of animal care and rescue efforts.
Guests also had the chance to visit the HAWS Mobile Adoption Center in Christmas Village, where the holiday magic helped connect animals with potential forever homes. These evenings were a beautiful reminder that the season of giving extends to all members of our community—furry ones included.
Supporting Education Close to Home: The Oasis Project Nights
On December 15 and 16, 2025, we partnered with The Oasis Project to shine a light on the importance of education. With $5 donated per carload, we raised $2,100 to support free, professional, school-based tutoring for children in Waukesha County.
This partnership helped fund individualized instruction in reading, math, and other essential subjects, making a lasting impact well beyond the holiday season.

Honoring Our Heroes: Sirens and Sleigh Bells
Sirens and Sleigh Bells Night on December 10, 2025, was dedicated to celebrating those who protect and serve our community every day. Families had the opportunity to interact with the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department, exploring a mobile command post and a SWAT vehicle.
From 6:00 to 8:00 PM, guests connected with local first responders, offering a heartfelt thank-you for their dedication and service year-round.
Spreading Cheer Throughout Waukesha
Country Christmas extended beyond our grounds as our team proudly participated in the Waukesha Christmas Parade, sharing festive spirit with the broader community. We were also honored to sponsor the Waukesha Night of Lights, where residents gathered for a joyful tree-lighting ceremony to officially kick off the season. Our team loved serving hot chocolate and cookies, adding a little extra warmth to a crisp winter night.
A Moment That Touched Every Heart: Reverse Drive-Through at Children’s Hospital
One of the most meaningful moments of the season was the third annual Reverse Drive-Through at Children’s Hospital. Partnering with Caledonia’s Carnival of Lights and the MKE Jeep Rebels, we brought holiday floats, Santa, and gifts to families who needed it most.
The smiles, laughter, and amazement on the faces of children and their families reminded us all of the true meaning of the holidays—hope, kindness, and human connection.

With Gratitude, Thank You
Country Christmas 2025 was made possible by the incredible support of our guests, partners, volunteers, and dedicated team members. Every ticket purchased, every donation made, and every smile shared reflected the generous and caring spirit of our community.
From all of us at The Ingleside Hotel, thank you for helping make this season unforgettable. We look forward to welcoming you back for another year of lights, laughter, and giving—because together, we make the holidays brighter.
