Country Christmas 2024 at The Ingleside Hotel: A Season of Joy, Giving, and Community Spirit

Country Christmas 2024 at The Ingleside Hotel: A Season of Joy, Giving, and Community Spirit

As the holiday season fades into cherished memories, we at The Ingleside Hotel reflect on the overwhelming joy and community involvement that made our 2024 Country Christmas season truly magical. From dazzling lights to heartfelt partnerships, every moment reinforced why Country Christmas is the ultimate holiday destination. Here’s a look back at the highlights and the incredible impact we made together.

1. Country Christmas Illuminated Walking Nights

This year, we extended our Illuminated Walking Nights to six evenings, welcoming guests to walk through the mile-long Country Christmas Trail on November 15-17 and November 22-24. For just $8 per person, visitors were able to surround themselves in a wonderland of lights while supporting a worthy cause. Thanks to our guests, we raised an impressive $18,442 for the Christmas Clearing Council of Waukesha County, an organization that brings holiday joy to families in need. Your participation made a difference in our community, and we couldn’t be more grateful. 2. Holiday Hooves Private Event

On November 18 and 19, we hosted the Holiday Hooves event, offering attendees an opportunity to ride their horse through the lights while giving back. With $3 of every $20 ticket going to the Run O’ The Mill Pony Club, we were happy to help support the next generation of equestrians and this wonderful local organization. It’s always a pleasure to see the smiles these events bring to both attendees and beneficiaries. For information about participating in this event in 2025, please reach out to [email protected].

3. HAWS Nights

In partnership with the Humane Animal Welfare Society (HAWS) of Waukesha County, we dedicated two evenings, December 5 and December 12, to helping our furry friends. For every carload admission, $5 was donated to HAWS, raising $1,380 to support animal welfare. Guests also had the unique opportunity to visit the HAWS Mobile Adoption Center in Christmas Village, where guests could find their forever furry companions. These nights exemplify the heart of the season—giving and love. For more information on HAWS, please visit https://hawspets.org/.

4. Sirens and Sleigh Bells

On December 11, we celebrated our local heroes during Sirens and Sleigh Bells Night. Firefighters from the City of Waukesha Fire Department and Waukesha County Sheriffs joined us with their fire vehicles, mobile command post, and SWAT vehicle. From 6 PM to 8 PM, families interacted with these incredible first responders, reminding us all of the dedication and bravery that keep our community safe year-round.

5. Waukesha Parade and Tree Lighting Sponsorship

Our team proudly participated in the Waukesha Parade, sharing holiday cheer with all who attended. We also sponsored the Waukesha Night of Lights, where community members gathered to kick off the season with a tree lighting ceremony. The Ingleside Hotel team members were excited to provide attendees with hot chocolate and cookies, spreading warmth and joy on a chilly winter evening.

6. Reverse Drive-Through at Children’s Hospital

One of the most touching highlights of our season was the second annual Reverse Drive-Through at Children’s Hospital. In collaboration with Caledonia’s Carnival of Lights, we brought holiday floats, Santa, a spectacular drone show, and gifts to brighten the lives of families facing difficult times. Witnessing the smiles and awe on the faces of these children and their families was a powerful reminder of what the holidays are truly about. If anyone is interested in building a float and participating next year, please reach out to us at [email protected]

Thank You, Community!

The magic of Country Christmas would not be possible without the unwavering support of our guests, partners, and team members. Each event, donation, and act of kindness this season reflected the heart of our community—compassionate, generous, and united.

From everyone at The Ingleside Hotel, thank you for making 2024 a season to remember. We can’t wait to welcome you back in 2025 for more lights, laughter, and the spirit of giving. Until then, may the joy and warmth of the season stay with you all year long!
